| League, As already posted, taking over this week as new commissioner and future owner-commish of the Tillman II league, as you should be aware by now, on Wednesday evening, while checking to see if any trades needed be processed in the 3 leagues i have taken over as well as checking to see that waivers were processed in all 3, which they were in Tillman I & Cowboys but didn't process in Tillman II, instead of emailing Ahmed to confirm that waivers ran on Wednesday and Saturday as stated in the Tillman II rules as i checked the rules section, I took it on my own to simply manually process the waivers which occurred at 11:14 p.m. est. ( in hindsight, if i had taken time to either email Ahmed or just scrolled down the 'transactions' link i would have seen the prior Thursday-Saturday waivers, i wish i had thought of that at the time but i didn't and manually processed since stated in the rules) I was out of pocket on Thursday and didn't see emails / posts until Friday lunch time at which time i quickly posted that. Last night the waivers that processed for the two owners on Thursday night were reversed by Ahmed after he and i had some email discussions as some owners raised some issues during the prior messages and posts. The players awarded on Thursday night waivers to Beverly Beavers & to Number 7 were reversed last night at 10:03 p.m est. Fortunately, by commish's ability to see transactions etc, this morning, Number 7 did make waiver requests at approx. 10:30 a.m. this morning AND was awarded his 1st & 2nd round requests. UNFORTUNATELY Beverly Beavers did not make new waiver requests and the waivers were processed at 11:00 a.m. est this morning. I see that Bev.Beavs. has a "UK" email which i am going to go out on a limb here and assume that Bev.Beavs. owner resides in ENGLAND which i believe to be 5 or 6 hours ahead of US E.S.T. time zone which would make last night's reversal of the thursday waiver picks at 10pm est approximately 1am or 2am Saturday morning for this owner. If he were already asleep or working night shift without access for whatever reason between time decision to reverse the thursday transactions and set saturday morning waiver requests then to hold to the reversals would be to penalize Beverly Beavers and ONLY Beverly Beavers for MY MISTAKE of processing waivers on Wednesday night. This is not the same as all owners everywhere know that there are Sunday morning late scratches or weather changes that might affect starting lineup decisions etc. An owner should feel secure in knowing that if he has set waiver requests and made enough player-requests to cover bye week issues that he should be getting the needed players to cover his bye week players in order that he can submit a full starting lineup. FORTUNATELY especially in this case, the TWO players that Bev.Beavs. had on waivers and were awarded to him on Thurs.nite, then reversed last night were NOT taken by any other owner in the league this morning on Saturday waivers. That makes this EASY to remedy this hopefully ONE-TIME-WAIVER-SCREW-UP that i created on wednesday night. Therefore, i am going to manually perform waivers for the BEVERLY BEAVERS team awarding him the two players he requested and was awarded on Thurs.nite reversed last night. FOR THOSE THAT KNOW ME from other leagues in GLFFL, KFFL, etc, and from my votes-rationale etc over the last few years on GLFFL's BOD reviewing trade protests etc, i hope & trust everyone knows that i will always do my best and i do put the INTEGRITY of a LEAGUE above all else. I do believe in HARD-RULES that are strictly adhered to and any 'rule-changes' should only go into effect in off-season. AND I HOPE everyone understands and agrees with my decision here tonite. Afterall, this was and is a ONE-TIME MISTAKE that i made by processing the waivers as stated in the rules. In this limited case and on the fact-specific scenario that now presents concerning the waivers that then processed on thursday night and were reversed late friday night, that in my opinion, to do anything less than awarding Bev.Beavers the two players he did queue up on Thursday night that would have both been awarded to him on Saturday morning waivers as noone else requested either of these two players thereby affecting no other owner in a negative way, that to do anything less than award those two players to Beverly Beavers would be nothing more than penalizing Bev.Beavs. for MY MISTAKE in first week taking over commish-duties.
